READ THIS AND THEN MAKE SURE YOU APPLY IT!!! HAVE A GREAT DAY!

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.

One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream.
'I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house.'

The old woman smiled, 'Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?'

'That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them.'

'For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.

Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house.'

Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.

SO, to all of my crackpot friends, have a great day and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!

Try it - It's worth a laugh! My new name is Sloopy Chickenpants

MY NEW NAME IS IN THE SUBJECT.....DON'T LAUGH UNTIL YOU FIND OUT WHAT YOUR NEW NAME IS

We all need a little stress-reliever! This only takes a minute.

Please don't be a bore & ruin it. Send it on to everyone you know including the person that sent it to you.

Sometimes when you have a stressful day or week, you need some silliness to break up the day. If we are honest, we have a lot more stressful days than not.

Here is your dose of humor...

A. Follow the instructions to find your new
name.

B. Once you have your new name, put it in the
subject box and forward it to friends and
family & co-workers.

Don't forget to forward it back to the person who sent it to you
so they know you participated.

And don't go all adult - a senior manager is now known far & wide as Dorky Gizzardsniffer!

The following is excerpted from a children's book, Captain Underpants And the Perilous Plot Professor Poopypants, by Dave Pilkey, in which the evil Professor forces everyone to assume new names...

So:-

1. Use the third letter of your fi rst name to
determine your New first name:

a snickle
b = doombah
c = goober
d cheesey
e crusty
f greasy
g dumbo
h farcus
i dorky
j doofus
k funky
l boobie
m sleezy
n sloopy
o fluffy
p stinky
q slimy
r dorfus
s snooty
t tootsie
u dipsy
v sneezy
w liver
x skippy
y = dink y
z zippy

2. Use the second letter of your last name to determine the first half of your new last name:

a dippin
b feather
c batty
d burger
e chicken
f barffy
g lizard
h waffle
i farkle
j monkey
k flippin
l fricken
m bubble
n rhino
o potty
p hamster
q buckle
r gizzard
s lickin
t snickle
u chuckle
v pickle
w hubble
x dingle
y = gorilla
z = girdl e

3. Use the third letter of your last name to determine the second half of your new last name:

a butt
b boob
c face
d nose
e hump
f breath
g pants
h shorts
i lips
j honker
k head
l tush
m chunks
n dunkin
o brains
p biscuits
q toes
r doodle
s fanny
t sniffer
u sprinkles
v frack
w squirt
x humperdinck
y hiney
z juice

Thus, for example, George W. Bush's new name is: Fluffy Chucklefanny.

Now when you SEND THIS ON...use your new name as the subject.

And remember that children laugh an average of 146 times a day; adults laugh an average of 4 times a day.
Put more laughter in your day!!!

Zimbabwe Crisis

Dear friends,

The Zimbabwe crisis is spinning even further out of control, but the international response is gaining steam.

In less than a week, more than 120,000 people from 215 countries and territories--including thousands from across Africa--have signed the Avaaz petition demanding the release of the election results. On Wednesday, as world leaders enter the United Nations for a special summit chaired by South Africa, a plane hired by Avaaz will soar above them pulling a massive aerial banner reading "MBEKI: TIME TO ACT--DEMOCRACY FOR ZIMBABWE."

To make this message count, can you help us reach 150,000 signatures by the end of the day? Forward this email to your friends and family, and urge them to sign the petition at this link:

http://www.avaaz.org/en/democracy_for_zimbabwe/20.php?cl=76824245

Yesterday, the Zimbabwe High Court ruled against requiring the immediate release of the results of the March 29 Presidential election. In response, opposition called for a nationwide strike, and Mugabe deployed police throughout the country.[1]

All of this came just after South African President Thabo Mbeki--who, more than anyone else in the world, could influence Mugabe's actions--said on Saturday that "there is no crisis in Zimbabwe."[2]

But Mbeki isn't off the hook just yet. Tomorrow (Wednesday), he will chair a special United Nations Security Council meeting, where diplomats have promised to raise the Zimbabwe crisis.[3] If he looks up as he enters the United Nations headquarters, Mbeki will see a 280 square metre (3000 square foot) banner amplifying the voices of Avaaz members around the world--and if he doesn't see it then, you can be sure he'll see it in the newspapers the next day. International press have already begun to report on the planned fly-over of the banner.

Throughout the day, Avaaz will update reporters in Southern Africa and at the United Nations on the growth of the petition. If all of us forward this email to friends, co-workers, and relatives, we can add tens of thousands of new signatures in one day, and show Mbeki and Mugabe that the world is watching--and supporting the people of Zimbabwe as they demand democracy.

It's easy to sign at this link:

This Friday, the 18th of April, marks Zimbabwe's Day of Independence from colonial rule. Amidst the worsening poverty and danger, civil society organisations across Zimbabwe are gearing up for nonviolent resistance to Mugabe's regime, calling for local actions and urging supporters to wear white in solidarity. And Zimbabwean media organisations--many now operating outside the borders--are broadcasting news about the international support that Zimbabwe's people are receiving.

Mugabe was once the hero of Zimbabwe's liberation. Now his own people embody the principles he once championed. For those of us around the world, it is our privilege and our responsibility to stand with them.

With hope,

Ben, Ricken, Galit, Paul, Milena, Graziela, Pascal, Iain, and Milena--the Avaaz.org team

Laughing at Technology

Three Ladies in a Sauna

Sometimes it can be depressing with the way technology is going at such a fast pace, so when my niece sent me this email I thought it was worth sharing. YOU JUST HAVE TO LAUGH SOMETIMES - I apologize if it offends anyone but yes SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVE TO LAUGH ... IT'S HEALTHIER!!!

THREE WOMEN, TWO YOUNGER, AND ONE SENIOR CITIZEN, WERE SITTING NAKED IN A SAUNA.
SUDDENLY THERE WAS A BEEPING SOUND. THE YOUNG WOMAN PRESSED HER FOREARM AND THE BEEP STOPPED. THE OTHERS LOOKED AT HER QUESTIONINGLY. 'THAT WAS MY PAGER,' SHE SAID. I HAVE A MICROCHIP UNDER THE SKIN OF MY ARM.
A FEW MINUTES LATER, A PHONE RANG. THE SECOND YOUNG WOMAN LIFTED HER PALM TO HER EAR. WHEN SHE FINISHED, SHE EXPLAINED, 'THAT WAS MY MOBILE PHONE. I HAVE A MICROCHIP IN MY HAND.'
THE OLDER WOMAN FELT VERY LOW -TECH. NOT TO BE OUT DONE, SHE DECIDED SHE HAD TO DO SOMETHING JUST AS IMPRESSIVE. SHE STEPPED OUT OF THE SAUNA AND WENT TO THE BATHROOM. SHE RETURNED WITH A PIECE OF TOILET PAPER HANGING FROM HER REAR END.
THE OTHERS RAISED THEIR EYEBROWS AND STARED AT HER.
THE OLDER WOMAN FINALLY SAID.........WELL, WILL YOU LOOK AT THAT....
I'M GETTING A FAX!!

Life is a BuZZZZZ!!!!

Hi - well after a very busy weekend another week of our life begins - THIS IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF YOUR LIFE so ENJOY! Life is so busy most of the time these days, and buzzing it can be! But, whether it is a good buzz or a miserable buzz is up to you. Sure there are some things we can't control but if we let these mirerable buzzes get to us and ruin a moment in our precious life which can't be replaced, we are behind a step or two, or 3 or 4 even!. If it is a negative miserable buzz ask yourself how can I turn this around to reap the benefits of it, not dwell on the downside. How can I best relate to this incident to benefit others and/or myself, to make me a better person, thus enabling me to be a bonus to others. You don't have to be a hero - just a positive inspiration to someone else.

You might think that is a minor benefit but to another person alot less fortunate than you, just helping out is a huge boost to a low moral. Our pastor on Sunday was speaking about how generosity releases blessings - not necessariy for ourselves but for so many around us. Don't do things just to receive blessings though, but be aware that blessing another's otherwise miserable situation is all that matters. Pick up something for an old person - it is a real effort to bend down at that age. Let someone in line move in front of you. Pay for the person behind you at the toll booth! Imagine that! Make a meal - not even for someone in need - just do it for anyone who comes to mind. So now as you go out and face the world today, life can be a BuZZZZZ - A Great BuZZZZZZZZ - it's entirely up to you!

God Bless You & Yours
Jenny

How to Remain Positive

How to Remain Positive when You Feel Like Giving Up!

Sound familiar. I haven't felt like blogging much over the past few days - I guess I wonder who is reading this and not commenting or if there is anyone reading this at all. I am not one for giving up easily but at times you have got to ask yourself - Is it a waste of my time & effort ??????????

Pulling Yourself out of the Hole!

Then I thought ... I have to - there is no question - Life is a one time opportunity and if you don't give it your all you only half live! Make Sense?! Well I decided to keep going and maybe someone or something will comment and change the force of my blog. I want to encourage you and that is my passion so why should I give up. Even if it helps make one person feel good about themselves - that is worth the effort - it trully is. That is my story and I am sticking to it !!!

So you just keep going and humor yourself on the way hoping there are readers who are as essentric as I and yet want to help the everyday person live a more positive and healthier and happier life each and every day. If you feel like giving up - DON'T please at least for my sake. I won't be able to reach out to you if you do that. That's right there is always a positive solution for every negative problem. If you are just having a downer - think NO - have a upper instead. Take a breathe of fresh air and go out and smell the flowers or the sidewalk hedge or whatever is in your neighborhood and look around you. Are there others out there looking sadder than you - more dejected or less energetic or less fit? Of course there are - and if you say NO you are not looking hard enough. You are not the worst person on this planet - there are millions alot worse off than you, so it is your job to help them and make them feel better - THENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN in return you will feel 150% better than you did a few minutes ago. TRY IT and let me know how you went.

LIFE JUST FLIES BY !!!

Hello again - I can't believe how this week has flown and I haven't spoken to you - SHAME ON ME - SorrrrrrY !!!!!!!!!!! I really am - how are you all anyway? I had a bit of a downer yesterday - don't know why but that happens. I remembered what I have told you all in the past and that it is all to do with 'attitude' - so I took some advice from ME and applied it and it helped - I also visited my daughter and she built me up again. We are all human and need encouragement from time to time. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ... here goes ... If you are having a downer more often than not - walk outside - or get in the car and drive or just take a walk - go and visit someone you love to be with or ladies go shopping! Just change the scenery and remember you are breathing and are alive. I know we all have different circumstances and everything is not possible for everyone, but make the most of what
you have and live this day to the fullest. Do something for someone who is less fortunate. No matter what you are going through right now there are always many millions more out there alot worse off than you. Keep up that attitude and remember you are only human but any human can improve! Luv you !!!! Have a good one. Check out these sites too before you go ...
